[Through the afternoon and evening, Shikamaru can be found in various places around the village: digging through things in shops, searching through grass and shrubs and so on. He hasn't been around the village much in the last two days, busy elsewhere with his deer.

Now it almost seems like he's making up for it. One minute you might walk past him digging through the trash behind a building, only to go in to find he's inside already (probably asking if the place has a lost and found). Someone's busy.]

[It was actually mostly healed, but he'd kept it wrapped. He was tired yes, but it didn't mean he couldn't help for a little while, at least.]

Awesome, got it in one! I dunno what the new you has against fighting but if it's kinda the same reason as the old you then that's good enough. Maybe the new you only likes fighting when he has to and when he has a lighter with him.

In fact, his only problem here is that his hands are getting messy, and the deeper he gets the more his sword dips into the surrounding garbage. Zoro straightens up, stares at his dirty hands, and not-so-delicately wipes them off on his pants.

He pulls Wadou off his back, then holds it out to Shikamaru by its strap.] Can you put this over there? [He points to a clean patch on the wall.] I don't want it t'get dirty.
