The air smells of faintly of cloves - Law's a traditionalist when it comes to sword care, the oil he uses is a blend of 99% mineral oil and 1% clove oil. It keeps the rust away. There are rice papers, oiling cloths, a uchiko (powder ball) for polishing, a small jar of the oil you smell, and a brass hammer and awl.
