023 -- [Accidental Post]

[Earlier, when looking through his father’s book for the first time in several months, Shikamaru found some pictures he’d never seen before being used as bookmarks. It was… nostalgic, to say the least.

He finds another bookmark to replace them; puts the photos in a drawer to look at later. Because haha, he knows how this works, right? He leaves them out, and somehow his journal accidentally records it. Yeah. Hell no. He’s smarter than that and doesn’t leave his journal anywhere near them. On top of that, he takes it with him when he leaves to assist with a chakra training lesson. Crisis averted!

Guess what he sees when he opens up his journal two hours later.



Where’s the nearest wall. He needs to beat his head softly against it while he attempts to figure out how this happened. Feel free to action it up when he’s back at CH1 too, if you like.]

anyways, Tenten's grin grows to ridiculously wide proportions. Not that Shikamaru can see it or anything, but, he can probably infer that she has a really large smile right now. ]

Oh my god! Shikamaru! This photo is just too cute. [ There are some soft giggles as Tenten taps her journal. It tempts her to start a scrapbook for all the memories she's had in Luceti. ]

You know, this photo makes me want to start some scrapbook type of thing. [ It'd be a cute collection of memories! Especially with this as its first entry! ]

Nah. I just want a little momento of all the good times here. In case one day they stop.

It'd be pretty nice if we could have something we could all look at as Konoha ninja and bond over it. Like an emotional centerpiece of sorts.

Well, we seem to enjoy our lives at home and we aren't always together or see each other as often as we are here. And we need to have some sort of good times thing for when the really bad times come. I mean, it's not all terrible. Remember... [ ...Oh. huh. She can't really think of anything specifically involving Shikamaru and fun. OH WELL. TIME TO FAKE IT. ]

I'm wide aware there's a difference between friendship and a location.

Either way, it'd be nice if we had something to tie us together that shows all the vaguely positive times we had with our friends. The Hokage is really big on memories for a reason, you know! [ Tenten plays the Hokage Card! Insert vague yugioh reference here. ]
