023 -- [Accidental Post]

[Earlier, when looking through his father’s book for the first time in several months, Shikamaru found some pictures he’d never seen before being used as bookmarks. It was… nostalgic, to say the least.

He finds another bookmark to replace them; puts the photos in a drawer to look at later. Because haha, he knows how this works, right? He leaves them out, and somehow his journal accidentally records it. Yeah. Hell no. He’s smarter than that and doesn’t leave his journal anywhere near them. On top of that, he takes it with him when he leaves to assist with a chakra training lesson. Crisis averted!

Guess what he sees when he opens up his journal two hours later.



Where’s the nearest wall. He needs to beat his head softly against it while he attempts to figure out how this happened. Feel free to action it up when he’s back at CH1 too, if you like.]

Victory dance. Right now. Yotsuba gets up and starts flapping her arms around all over the place as she makes a lap of her room.]

[Victory lap done with she flops to the floor, crawls back over to the journal and carefully reads out the name she guessed all by herself.]

You can have your own bowl and then we can share the sauce. Yotsuba wants some milk to go with it too and some compliments to the chef.

You should still say that to the chef so you don't hurt his feelings! He has really curly eyebrows and his name is Sanji you know, he pays Yotsuba in pancakes.

[He's met Sanji and thinks he's a pretty cool guy for a pirate, so he uses the word 'work' knowingly.]

The guy who takes care of all the trolls and invisible goblins needs to know how to go to work, or the trolls might start staling food again.

[There's a loud crash as she flings her journal away and races out of her room to get to Seventh Heaven. GOTTA GO FAST.]

[...welp, so much for that. Shikamaru can't help but laugh as he puts the journal away, and heads off to the restaurant too.]

[Seeing as Yotsuba's most common form of transportation is 'run really fast everywhere' it doesn't take her long to get to the restaurant and order up some prawns.

Truth be told she's only ever eaten shrimp tempura, so seeing these weird pink and white things is kind of confusing her. Where's the crispy batter?]

[Shikamaru isn't long behind - only not there right away due to getting delayed by a certain teammate.
