Name: Nara Hayashi Canon: Naruto Age: 23 Time spent in Kin'cora: Six months
Notes:
- Village or origin: Konoha - Nara Clansmen - Distant cousin of Shikamaru's - his parents used to babysit him while Shikaku and Yoshino were on missions in the early days. - Graduated from the Academy, but neither received team placement nor further pursued a career as a ninja. --- Does know academy level ninjutsu as a result, however - Became a deer herder on the Nara lands - Canon point is after Pain's invasion - Received a death penalty due to the zombie experiment he died in: Hayashi is blind in one eye.
Appearance:
- 5'8 - Lean build - Tan - Dark brown eyes - Light brown hair - Typical Nara hairstyle, but with a closer cropped ponytail - Square jaw - Currently has a broken arm, due to the Third Party attack on Kin'cora
Personality/History:
Hayashi is a generally agreeable man who enjoys the outdoors. More peaceful in nature, he wasn't greatly interested in becoming a ninja. Thusly when he did not make a genin team, he did not pursue it further. He became a deer herder instead. In addition to being able to work with these animals well, he has great skill in recognizing plants and their uses, and in navigating forest areas.
Like many Nara, he has a lazy nature, but he did help his family look after the children in the clan who's relatives were away on missions, or had died. Though seven years older, he spent a considerable time with Shikamaru in the years before he started school. They often took walks into the forest, though Shikamaru had less interest in the grounds and the deer, which disappointed him.
In general, Hayashi is both easy-going and proud of his heritage. Since coming to Kin'cora, he regrets knowing as few ninjutsu as he does, because he doesn't have many other skills to offer. He has great respect for Korras Blake, but he also disagrees with how aggressive the Kin'corans are behaving.
Name: Hiroi Canon: Naruto Age: 20 Time spent in Kin'cora: Eight months
Notes:
- Village of origin: Kumo - Became a genin at 12 - Promoted to chuunin at 19 - Is a swordsman and taijutsu user, primarily. Has been learning how to utilize lightning chakra. - Fan of Killer Bee's music - Canon point: The Fourth Shinobi War - Member of Dauri's First Division -- As a result, in the same division as Chouza and Tenten, and saw the Ino-Shika-Cho battle against the Kin-Gin brothers, which impressed him. - He has great esteem for Darui, Killer Bee, and the Raikage - He originally had some reservations about Konoha, but since working with them in the war is more agreeable. - Very outspoken against the Malnosso since coming to Kin'cora - Death penalty from the zombie experiment: narcolepsy
Appearance:
- Wears the standard Cloud ninja uniform. His forehead protector is on a white bandana tied on his head. - Dark skinned - Black hair, cropped close to the skin - Dark eyes - 5'6 - Slightly plump - Small in general - Has an unusually loud and deep voice (think Barry Manilow levels)
Personality/History:
Hiroi is a young and hotblooded shinobi from the Cloud Village. In his very young days, members of his family were involved in the attempt to get the Byakugan from Konoha, which negatively colored his opinion of them even though he was too young to understand why.
It's only recently these opinions have been swayed, but he now thinks of them as pretty cool guys. As a ninja, Hiroi is not extraordinarily skilled but he loves the life of a shinobi, so he's kept at it, finally becoming a chuunin after seven years. (It's partially for this reason that he's come to respect the Konoha ninja he's seen) Sometimes he jokes he would've become a rapper instead, aspiring to be something like Killer Bee, but his voice isn't suited for it.
Being in Kin'cora for so long has aggravated him, and Hiroi has been obsessively searching for a way out. Visiting Luceti he was at first delighted, recognizing some of the figures from home (especially having heard tales of Naruto's success back home), because he was sure they could find a way out. He was later disappointed learning how long they've been in Luceti, and angry. After cooling down, he's willing to offer them any information and help he can anyways, but he still thinks he might take his chances sticking with the friends he's made in Kin'cora.
