There's not a lot of good hills around here. Anyone else find that annoying? You gotta go out past the village if you want to find a good one; the rest of the place is about as flat as a pancake. Or you have to... huh. [Not even focused on the journal anymore:] Pancakes sound good.

In the meantime, Shikamaru will quite literally be anywhere and everywhere at some point in the village today. Originally, the plan was just to stop by the store and maybe sneak by House 15 like a ninja, figuring he could use some fresh air anyways oh right. He's gotten a little... distracted since then, however. Namely by anything that moves - and then things that don't move. There's a lot of things. Also clouds.

Kudos to anyone who can hold a conversation with him for longer than two minutes. It's a difficult thing to do with someone who suddenly has the attention span of a small child.]

A minute is a long time, okay. While you were taking your time getting out there, a lot of interesting stuff happened. SO AS IT IS... he's kinda heading into town now instead. Shouldn't have to go too far to find him, though.]
