[He digs his fingers into his pockets, looking for a few certain items in particular, such as the silver lighter he pulls out. There's a clink of metal followed by a tiny flame as he makes sure it still works.]

[Snort.] I didn't have enough time to grab a pair of pants, much less a few shogi tiles.
