[After a good week of mostly having his nose stuck in his journal, Shikamaru is fairly satisfied that he knows it forward and back. As for half of the information he's gotten out of it? Not so much. But thinking is troublesome, and he's tired of trying to figure out what to do with what he's learned.

Thus, Thursday morning on sees him doing very little at all, besides sitting around on a bench stationed alongside the path between Seventh Heaven and Good Spirits, watching the clouds go by with a content grin on his face. Ah, that's much better.

Sometime into the evening, before it gets dark out, he lights a cigarette and opens his journal.]

...So anyone know how to play this Pai Sho game? [ It's going to be his earworm until he finally gets to play, dammit. B| ]

[Hope you don't mind sharing that bench, it's quite nicely placed between the bar and the restaurant after all. Have a blue haired boy carrying a metal box as big as half of your body sit at the other side of the bench. Not that he's going to say much for a while, he'll just be contemplating the village around.]

[Nope, he doesn't mind at all. Big bench. Shikamaru continues to watch the clouds, cigarette held between his fingers. Eventually he turns his head to the side to consider the other boy.]

Hey. [Small greeting. He'd raise a hand or wave or something, but that would require effort.]

[As he watches the clouds, Ikki watches the people and other things down on the ground. He doesn't mind the silence or anything, but he looks at him when the other greets. He nods his head a little as acknowledgment his verbal answer being nothing but a "hn". He looks at the sky after that for a second.]

Not a bad view for the day after a heavy rain.

[He still prefers the landscape down on Earth though.]
