[endgames]

This post is for threading with Shikamaru anytime and anywhere. It can be used for action tags or the ping feature on journals (voice or written) to get in contact with him for personal conversations. This will be used primarily for anything that you don't feel like would take place in a regular log or post.

[It is the most important thing in the world and if you don't know about it you should]

[He's still for a moment, clearly giving it careful thought. When it doesn't ring any bells, he looks back at Silver and shakes his head. No dice.]

[feistytrader]

Then let's go watch it. [Let's go let's go right now-]

[middlegames]

It's not here?

[feistytrader]

No way. It's back at home.

[middlegames]

Could we watch it here?

[feistytrader]

...Why?

[I mean, he could bring it over, but...]

[middlegames]

I don't wanna walk.

[feistytrader]

We can fly.

...keep talking.

Gyarados is a bumpier ride than Honchkrow, but he can fit a bunch of people on his head alone.

[Nevermind the rest of him.]

[middlegames]

[There's a brief spell where he wants to ask if Honchkrow is the same as Murkrow... but decides he'd better leave it alone. There are more interesting (and less sad) questions to be had.]

Is Gyarados another pokemon?

[feistytrader]

Yeah. He's another one of my partners.

[...] You never met him?

[middlegames]

[Another headshake.] No. But if he can fly, that's awesome.

[feistytrader]

...Come on, then. I'll introduce you two. [And then Shikamaru will be in on the ride of his life.]

[middlegames]

Okay. [But what do they do with the pizza.]

[feistytrader]

[...Uh.]

After you finish your pizza.

[Yeah. Smooth save. ...Here, he'll even take a few slices to bring home and start munching on one himself.]

[middlegames]

[Shikamaru snickers and gives Silver a thumbs up, but okay he'll go back to finishing his lunch. He polishes off two slices and the can of soda, but then he's full.]

[feistytrader]

[Silver demolishes two more slices by the time Shikamaru finishes, so there's half a pizza left to share with hungry housemates... Provided that they like it, anyway.

He collects the remaining pizza and heads outside of the rec center- luckily, it only takes one hand to let Gyarados out and no hands to hop up on his head. Once he's put the pizza down, he hops down again to help Shikamaru up.

Gyarados is pretty confused about why Shikamaru's so small, but he doesn't question it too much and tries to look more friendly than usual. Sup, kid.]

[middlegames]

[There's probably several seconds of awe-inspired silence that make getting him up onto Gyarados much simpler, but he makes a quick recovery once he's seated proper.]

He's huge.

[And awesome. Shikamaru attempts to pat the top of Gyarados' head, hoping he's doing it right. It's not easy to pet giant sea monster things.]

[feistytrader]

Yep. Way bigger and redder than the average Gyarados.

[He's content with any patting or petting that anyone has to offer. Of course, Shikamaru won't get much time to pet him. Silver wraps an arm around Shikamaru before grabbing onto Gyarados to make sure he's secured and not going to fall off.]

Make sure to hold on tight, okay?

[middlegames]

Hold onto what?

[If Silver hadn't grabbed him, he would've laid himself flat on his stomach if he could. As it is, his hands and feet just dig in for as much purchase as they can find.]

[feistytrader]

[Onto his... Scales. Or something. But it's alright, because Silver's got a tight grip on the center horn on his head and a tighter grip on Shikamaru.

Gyarados takes off quickly into the air- while it's quick and smoother than might be expected from something so large and intimidating, he "slithers" through the air like a snake, so it's a bit of a wiggly ride.

But hey, they can see the entire village already.]

[He holds on tightly but- hey that wasn't as bumpy as he expected.]

It's like a roller coaster!
