Appointment's Post II
This post is for threading with Shikamaru anytime and anywhere. It can be used for action tags or the ping feature on journals (voice or written) to get in contact with him for personal conversations. This will be used primarily for anything that you don't feel like would take place in a regular log or post.

SO FAST, I KNOW. We broke it.
[He's thinking he might have to pull some strings, actually. Maybe use some mission points, if he still has them in this world. The war here is over, but there's no telling when a threat might come again. Ino made it sound like they still saw fighting sometimes, even if it was nothing on the level it was before.
Shikamaru can still remember what it was like when they were kids, and Chouji lost all that weight and muscle mass after the failed mission to bring back Sasuke. It took him months to recover from that. Chewing a bite of onigiri thoughtfully, Shikamaru looks at his withered hand. No, he definitely can't take so much time to heal, like it or not. He's not sure what he'll do yet, but he'll determine that another time.
Thinking of Chouji though, and his family in those first weeks he got out of the hospital makes him laugh.]
I'm probably lucky to have you cooking for me though, instead of an Akimichi.
psh i did nothing of the sort!!
[She doesn't see him staring at his own hand since she's gone back to derping around in the kitchen -- making more onigiri, cleaning up, eating something herself. She does hear the laugh and she looks over again, curiously.
Her head tilts.]
Hm? I heard they're pretty good cooks. They would probably give you plenty of the food that you need.
